Kamila Valieva Hot And Sexy Figure Skater (18 Photos And Video)
15-year-old Kamila Valieva could not stand the pressure at the main start in her career – the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. The Beijing story ended sadly for her.
The women’s competition at the Beijing Olympics ended with a real sensation. Alexandra Trusova performed five quadruple jumps for the first time in history at the official start, but lost in the fight for gold to Anna Shcherbakova, who also showed outstanding skating. But their colleague and the main favorite of the tournament, Kamila Valieva, unexpectedly failed.
15-year-old Kamila Valieva could not cope with the burden of expectations and under the most severe pressure fell on the Chinese ice. Apparently, the doping scandal that broke out finally deprived her of strength, and at the same time, of an Olympic medal.

Kamila Valieva was born on April 26, 2006 in Kazan. She started figure skating at the age of 3.5 under the guidance of coach Ksenia Ivanova. In 2012, the girl’s family moved to Moscow. Kamila continued to practice figure skating at the Moskvich club. Irina Slutskaya, Elena Sokolova, Ilya Averbukh and Irina Lobacheva, Tatiana Navka and Roman Kostomarov, Elena Ilyinykh and Nikita Katsalapov and other stars of Russian figure skating have trained with her over the years.
Until 2014, Marina Kudryavtseva was Kamila’s coach, in the 2014-2015 season, the figure skater studied with Igor Lyutikov, and in 2015-2018 with Natalia Dubinskaya and Stanislav Kovalev. Dubinskaya said in an interview that with Valieva, as a coach, she implemented those ideas that she could not implement with other students.
In the summer of 2018, following the results of the viewing, Kamila Valieva got into the group of Eteri Tutberidze, who coached the two-time world and European champion in single figure skating Evgenia Medvedev, as well as the 2018 Olympic champion Alina Zagitova.
In an interview on television, Kamila Valieva said that when she went to Tutberidze, she did not really believe in success. But the fears turned out to be in vain, after the first appearance on the ice, Tutberidze told the girl that she was taking her into the group.
In 2018, Camila took part in the demonstration performances of the Russian Grand Prix, showing the number “Girl on a Ball” based on the Picasso painting of the same name. The program turned out to be so successful that it was put on for the next season.
The “Girl on the Ball” program is considered one of the best in the history of women’s figure skating. The judges, evaluating the components of the program (presentation), gave Valieva more than 32 points at the Junior World Figure Skating Championships in Tallinn (for comparison, Alina Zagitova scored no more than 29, and Alyona Kostornaya, being a junior, no more than 30).
Kamila Valieva is the winner of the Grand Prix final in figure Skating among juniors 2019/2020, the winner of the Russian Junior Championship in 2020. A figure skater at the age of 14 makes two quadruple jumps in the free program.
In 2020, Valieva became the first at the 2020 World Junior Championships in Tallinn, setting a new junior world record in the amount of 227.30 points. The figure skater also broke another record of Alexandra Trusova among juniors — Kamila received 152.38 points in the free program. At the championship Valieva performed a short program “Girl on a ball”.
Kamila Valieva was named the main Olympic hope of Russia
The pre-Olympic season was a success for Kamila. The figure skater worked out new elements and gradually prepared for the Games in Beijing. Her free program “Bolero” spoke of the athlete’s great ambitions, and the fact that the production was shown two years before China hinted at repeating the path of Alina Zagitova. Valieva was immediately credited with the status of Russia’s main Olympic hope, which she fully justified.
Progress from start to start, a scattering of ultra-si and three world records rewritten in her name – it was no coincidence that Kamila was considered the favorite of the main start of the fourth anniversary. The figure skater confidently won the championships of Russia and Europe, showing outstanding skating. It will be very difficult for the rest of the competitors to fight it.
The doping scandal finally deprived Valieva of strength
Arriving at the Beijing Olympics as a favorite, Camila confirmed her most serious intentions in the team tournament. The figure skater performed in both programs and brought the maximum 20 points to the country. Interestingly, before Valieva’s last rental, the Russian national team had already taken the lead, winning gold ahead of schedule. This meant that it was enough for her to go out on the ice and do a couple of laps to win a medal, but she took a chance and declared crazy content of three fours and a triple axel. Not everything worked out, but it was a very powerful bid to win.
Unfortunately, the sports festival for everyone was overshadowed by an unpleasant story, in the center of which was Camila. Kamila Valieva passed a positive doping test at the Russian Championship, which caused a big scandal. Long court proceedings, disputes about whether the athlete should be disqualified, attacks by the foreign press – this is only part of what the Russian woman had to go through. Nevertheless, the Court of Arbitration for Sport admitted Valieva to a personal offset.
Psychologically, it was a difficult test for a 15-year-old athlete. And as expected, Camila could not cope with it — the pressure on her was too strong. After the brilliant rides of Alexandra Trusova and Anna Shcherbakova in the free program, Valieva took to the ice in nervous tension. And from the very first seconds it became clear that the burden of responsibility weighed down the figure skater: an uncertain departure from the quadruple salchow, a step-out on a triple axel and a completely torn cascade with a quadruple sheepskin coat – the first half frankly did not work out. Kamila also fell from a solo quadruple sheepskin coat, obviously depriving herself of an Olympic medal. With a score of 224.09 points, Valieva stopped a step away from the podium, passing Japanese Kaori Sakamoto ahead.
