Louise Brealey also known as Loo Brealey is an English actress, writer and journalist, best known for the role of the pathologist Molly Hooper in the TV series “Sherlock”.

Biography of Louise Brealey
Louise Brealey was born on 27 March 1979 in Northampton. After high school, she entered Cambridge University, where she studied history. Then Louise went to New York to study acting at the Institute of theater and cinema Lee Strasberg. She also took lessons from comedian Philip the Pelt.

Career in the theatre
On the stage Louise Brealey made her debut in 2001 in the role of 14-year-old Sophie in the play, Sliding With Suzanne at London theater “Royal Court”. In 2005, she played in the play Tom Stoppard’s “Arcadia”, delivered at the Bristol theater “old Vic”.

Louise also played in productions of “Little Nell” (2007), “Uncle Vanya” in theatres Rose Theatre and English Touring Theatre (2008), “State inspector” at the theatre “Young Vic Theatre” (2011), “Trojan women” at theatre Gate Theatre (2012).

Film career
Debut film Louise Brealey became a TV series Casualty, where she played a nurse. In 2005, she appeared as Judy Solved in the film adaptation of the Charles Dickens novel “Bleak House”.

In 2010 Louise Brealey were invited to the role of the pathologist Molly Hooper in the TV series “Sherlock”. It was originally planned that her character is only in the first series, but the character is so the audience liked that she decided to leave.

In 2012, on BBC 2 was released a documentary film about Charles Dickens The Charles Dickens Show, in which Louise Brealey played several roles and was produced and co-wrote the script.

In 2013, the screens out the series “Father brown”, a remake of the British TV series of the 1950s, where Brealey played the role of Eleanor Knight.
